Website Evaluation

Before vacation we spent some time exploring a MARVEL database. Databases are a great resource because of the reliability of their information. When you search the web, it is important to remember that you must critically evaluate information that you find online.

Here are our learning targets for the day:

• I can explain why it is important to view information that we find on the internet with a critical eye.
• I can evaluate a website for validity using the Critical Evaluation of a Website worksheet.
