Happy Picture Book Month is an international literacy
initiative that celebrates the print picture book during the month of
November. This is the 2nd year that Woolwich Central School is
participating in Picture Book Month because we know how important and
wonderful picture books are. We have challenged ourselves to read,
listen to, enjoy 4,000 picture books during November! We hope that
families embrace this celebration at home as well. Tally sheets are
available from classroom teachers or the library for keeping track of
picture books. We’ll keep count and see if we can reach our goal. Join
the celebration and party with a picture book!
Wondering why EVERYONE should read picture books? Watch this video to find out.
