MLK and Primary vs. Secondary sources

Today we are reading Andrea Davis Pinkney's book titled Martin & Mahalia: his words, her song.  I would like to show you these two brief clips from the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. Our learning targets for today's lesson are: 

• I can define the terms "primary source" and "secondary source."
• I can deepen my knowledge of Martin Luther King, Jr. through both primary and secondary resources.
